Evelyn Bearden lived in Downtown Trussville where Sticks N Stuff currently stands. At HTHS, she met her husband, Joe Bearden. Her favorite teacher was Ms. Helen Lane who taught her cooking, cleaning, sewing, kintting, and setting tables. This helped her to become the lunchroom manager after her mother. She still keeps in touch with her friends, mostly at chruch. What she learned at Hewitt definitely made her become the person she is today.
